The Village of Whistler can be accessed directly by float plane, train, bus, car and helicopter. Access to Whistler by car from Vancouver is via the Sea to Sky Highway which rises from Sea Level at Squamish all the way to 5000 FT + in the area north of Whistler Village. It is a well maintained highway but can be subject to extreme weather. Precautions should be taken to ensure that extreme winter weather is not expected before setting out on the drive.
